Sounds like a wonderful program. I went through your presentation on the Senior Living Excellence program yet was disappointed that for the cost I was not able to view a sample of one of the contents listed. I think that would be a great idea to expose a sampling. Just like selling a senior client an apartment or home…they want to see a sample or model. Thanks.

Observation – so true; however, successful leaders are the ones who observe beyond the environment that they see. They dig deep into the backdrop of resistance, in this case, to a move to smaller quarters. I find that many Directors don’t dig deep enough to support the whole process of letting go, releasing, and simplifying the senior’s lives. Seniors are overwhelmed with the idea of selling the house of many years and many memories and letting go of the the accumulted stuff (treasures). A successful leader finds a wealth of resources that best fit and support the needs of their senior prospect.
